
Born in Dover, Peter Sherred went to school in Wokingham and
then read Politics and Government at the University of Kent at
Canterbury.
He is a
qualified solicitor, is a Non-Stipendiary Minister in the Church
of England and is Surrogate Judge to the Court of Admiralty of
the Cinque Ports.
Peter lives in Guston outside Dover with his wife Mary, a teacher
of music, and their four children in the house which inspired
the "Bertie Bonster" tales.
